Tonu’s cause of death still unknown

We have become speechless with disbelief by reading the report published in the local newspapers on June 13, 2016 which said Tonu’s cause of death still unknown, second autopsy does not suggest rape.
It is almost three months that Tonu was raped and murdered. Her father found her body beside a bush inside Comilla cantonment, her head was smashed and there were injury marks in her nose.
We did not believe the first autopsy report which said that there was no injury marks on her body and no sign of rape was found
From the May18, 2016 issue of the most newspapers we learned CID revealed that the girl was indeed raped before being murdered. The DNA tests found spermatozoa of three separate males on Tonu’s clothes.
Kamoda Prasad Saha, head of the three member board that conducted the second autopsy at Comilla Medical College while making public the first autopsy used the word “rape” but now he is declining to use that term. Is he under pressure to do so?
We condemn the way the case is proceeding and feeling deeply sad for Tonu’s parents. The big question is: Will the murder of their daughter ever avenged?
We are tired of this hide and seek play of the law-enforcing agents. They must not betray the people.

Orlando shooting

block

An American citizen of Afghan origin killed 50 gay workers and injured 53 others in a gay nightclub at Orlando in Florida of the USA on Saturday night. Police in turn shot the killer identified as Omar Mateen, blocking all the way to interview him to know what reasons he had to involve himself with such deadly killing?
Police killed Mateen, instead of taking him into custody. As he is dead now, it will be difficult to gather correct information. Had he remained alive, many unknown stories could have been unearthed. Now can we say that Police purposefully finished him to hide the truth?
His ex-wife says that Mateen was violent, but nor consistently extremist. He was, however, mentally unstable. Now arises a inquisitiveness what were the reasons that he became imbalanced? Did the indiscriminate bombing of Afghanistan by the US Air Force and the US Army for years that killed tens of thousands of Afghans and destruction of towns and villages provoke Mateen to attack the gay night club? If there is fair investigation, the real episode will be exposed.
The FBI interviewed him twice in 2013 and 2014 but found no evidence of his connection with religious extremism. His father says, Mateen was grief-stricken but had no hatred in his heart. Nonetheless, we do not support Mateern’s action. We feel that he should have filed case against the said nightclub as saying that the club was spreading immoral deeds far and near.
In this regard, we like to say that no indecent job is human right and that the State cannot create rights, and the government which cannot protect its own citizens should not criticize governments of other countries when there is a killing incident.
