Bring back them
The Bangladeshi female workers in some of the Middle East countries are in distress, subjected to various kinds of inhuman tortures, and not allowed to establish contact with their family members in the country. So, we demand their early return from the Middle East and compensation from the house owners they were employed. We think, that the Bangladesh government should not allow henceforth any female to go abroad as housemaid.
In this connection, we like to remind the governments of the Middle East countries that Islam does not allow sexual relations except between husband and wife.

Let jatka live
Despite a government ban on the catching of ‘jatka’ to facilitate the safe spawning of the Hilsa fish, fishermen continue to engage in this illegal practice. One reason behind this is the huge demand of the fish on Pahela Baishakh which is just days away.
Hilsha is the most valuable fish of Bangladesh. We need to protect it and help it to grow normally. I strongly feel that it is time we started having other fishes with the traditional panta on the Bangla New Year.
