Congratulations to West Indies
West Indies beat India by seven wickets in the second semi-final. Our heartiest congratulations for their superb performance and we are also feeling very happy because it acted like a balm, soothing our minds from the hurt we suffered by losing the game to India by only one run.
May the West Indies become champion also. Our best wishes are with them.

Sports channel
It is sad indeed there is no sports channel in Bangladesh although the government can do it easily. The ministry of information can transform one of the BTV’s four channels as sports channel, hiring skilled hands from home and abroad. India has about 10 sports channels and Pakistan have two.
I think that any sports channel will be profitable from the business point of view because there will be no crisis of viewers and hence promoters, ad-givers.
