Missing public voice
Politicians of our country are constantly saying how much they care for the people, they are concerned about their welfare and they are doing everything to make them happy.
I cannot but smile wryly hearing these declarations because the picture is the opposite, people do not count, they have no identity, they have no right to express their views. They will have to remain as deaf, blind and mute otherwise they will have to pay dearly. The present unbearable condition is the result of January 5 general election in which major political parties refrained from participating because it was not held under a neutral government and people did not go to cast their votes for that reason.
Our Election Commission is back boneless. We do not expect any acceptable election under its supervision. So there is no solution, our misery will go on and on. We do not know if we will ever find peace again. Everything is now clouded.
