Work on football intensely

Bangladesh National football team disgracefully lost to Afghanistan 0-4 and Maldives 1-3 in the first two matches of the 11th edition of the SAFF Football Championship underway in Kerala, India and thereby made early exit, giving a very gloomy signal that football’s future in Bangladesh is at the moment bleak, if not totally lost.
Now let us see what decision does the BFF take about the present coach in view of the step earlier taken against the team’s Italian coach after disastrous performance in an international club cup football tournament in China a month ago. Sacking of coaches one after another cannot improve the footballers’ performance if they themselves are not careful and promising.
Football was the most popular game in the country until 2000. With the sun declining in the West, youths started for the playgrounds to play football every afternoon, which the villagers enjoyed joyfully. Tournament was held in almost every thana and every subdivision. The villagers walked miles after miles, traveled by boat in the turbulent river to watch football matches and all they did for football.
As it was the picture, why did the standard of football fall in Bangladesh? What are the reasons? Will then Bangladesh like Brazil disappear from the world as a football playing nation? Who can give us the answer?
