Congratulations
The jam-packed stadiums in the semifinals and the final matches of the Sheikh Kamal International Gold Cup Football Tournament gives testimony that football is alive and not dead in Bangladesh, a land of sports from time immemorial.
However, we congratulate the eventual Champions and hosts Chittagong Abahani KC, all the participating clubs from home and abroad, the hosts and the soccer crazy fans of the port city of Chittagong for making the tournament highly successful. Howbeit, it would have been better had the Bangladesh and the India’s champion clubs participated in the competition concluded on Friday.
We hope that the tournament will continue with more dexterous and stronger clubs from the East and the west Asia.
Now can the Bangladesh Football Federation do so in three months?

Did IS hit the plane?
The ISIS, a guerilla front fighting for Khilafat in Iraq and Syria, claimed to have shot down a Russian plane by missile last week over the Sinai Peninsula in the Egypt. If the claim is true, then the IS is surely a very powerful guerilla organization because it has missiles under its possession capable of hitting an flying object at 31,000 feet above the surface.
Not only that, the IS recaptured another city in Syria, proving that Russia is a paper tiger. In fact, the Arab World should be united to defeat the IS or face a debacle. There is no need of the US or the Russian intervention.

Learn martial art
Every female should learn martial art as a measure to protect her against humiliation and physical torture at home and outside. Since the existing law of the land is unable to safeguard them, there is no second option than what is advised.
Whenever husbands or their kindred will try to wallop their females for any reason whatsoever, the victim women shall apply martial art in self-defence. It now implies upon guardian of a family to arrange martial art training for his daughters and sisters.
We must remember that the Prophet Muhammad (SM) has banned beating wives and suggested us to follow the Quran to settle family disputes
