Recalling the early memories

Gradually the blooming flowers, the green landscape, the waving green corps, the beauty of ever-continuing Bangladesh, the murmur of river, the chirping of birds, the innocent competition of catching fish in the rural Bangladesh, boys playing ha-du-du, boatmen singing bhawaiya and bhatiali and the fast trains running through the countryside are disappearing.
Nowadays poetries like Bhor Holo Dor Kholo, Khuku Moni Uthare’ of Kazi Nazrul Islam, ‘Sakale Uthia Aami Mone Mone Boli, Saradin Aami Jeno Bhalo Hoye Chali’ of Modan Mohan Tarkalankar, ‘Aamader Chhoto Nadi Chale Banke Banke’ of Rabindranath Tagore, ‘Tumi Jabe Bhai Jabe Mor Sathe Aamader Chhoto Gaen’ of Jasimuddin, ‘Bash Baganer Mathar Upor Chand Uthese Ai’ of Jatindra Mohan Bagchi, ‘Durgam Giri Kantar Maru’ of Kazi Nazrul Islam, ‘Barshar Jhar Jhar Saradin Jharse’ of Bande Ali Miah, ‘Bidyabojhai Babu Mashai Chari Sakher Boate’ of Sukumar Roy,’ ‘Kukur Asia Emon Kamor Dilo Pathiker Pay’ of Satyendra Nath Dutta, ‘Ai Chhelera Ai Meyera Phool Tulite Jai’ of Jasimuddin and ‘Aamra Nutun Aamra Kunri, Nikhil Bano Nandane’ of Golam Mustafa are hardly recited because those have been almost vanished into future.
In the rapid readers (in both Bengali and English), we do not find stories about the great men of the past where there were lessons for us.
These were our cultures and inspiration. We want them back and we request the government to take measures to get them back. Will the education ministry kindly respond to our feelings?
