Golden Rice
The development of the world’s first vitamin A enriched Golden Rice by Bangladeshi agricultural scientists is indeed a major step towards achieving global food and nutritional security. The new rice variety is now awaiting confined field trial.
We congratulate the scientists of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) for this breakthrough. I would recommended BRRI to monitor the effects of this genetically engineered product on the environment and human health.
