Welcome South Africa :
The powerful South Africa cricket team are now in our country to play two T-20 matches, three one-day internationals and two Tests in the month long tour. Although the visitors are favourites to take the biscuits in all the three versions of the cricket, even then anything can happen in sports, more so in cricket. Since Bangladesh beat both India and Pakistan, their strength should not be undermined. There is no doubt that the series will be very contesting, wonderful and amazing. We shall, perhaps, be able to witness a number of new records. The common knowledge is that the hosts always enjoy the benefits of playing on their home ground.
South Africa have arrived with AB de Villiers, the world’s best T-20 batsman, who can play from 360 degree angle. To me, he is bit hasty. I think if he can control his speed of mind, he will be able to produce more and more records. De Villiers will lead the one-day series also.
Hashim Amla is surely an extraordinary genius. By this time, he has reached a height, above many others. We are in wait of his superb batting display. Hashim will lead the South Africa Test squad. Amla is globally acclaimed for his gentleness and religiosity. On the other hand, du Plessis is also a very good batsman. He will lead T-20 side. In fact, South Africa are a galaxy of super stars.
Finally, we welcome the South Africa cricket team with warmest best wishes. Honouring or respecting the guests/visitors is the tradition of our hospitality.
South Africa is currently ranked first in Tests, fourth in ODIs and seventh in T20Is by the ICC.
However, there is a common saying, say rather a blame about the Proteus, that the start in fashion, progress in a matchless style but at the peak they cave in. More simply, they are widely known as choker. We wish, they will, this time prove it wrong. We wish the guest, the best.
