Football returns
Football has returned to stadiums in the length. The Sunday’s jam-packed Bangabandhu National Stadium and the thrilling encounter bear that testimony. In this regard, we salute Malaysia Olympic Football team for displaying calculative, fair and good football. We also greet Bangladesh National Football team for their great comeback from 0-2 deficit, even though they lost finally in the last minute’s super headwork capitalized by Faizat.
In this connection, we like to advise the home team’s captain not to be over confident and not to involve politics into sports. The coach of a football team in the other parts of the world decides plan and strategy, what the players execute. We know that Brazil’s holocaust in the 2014 World Cup was the consequence of the coach’s wrong selection of players and the strategy. Brazil’s victory depends on the individual brilliance, said a former German coach. Sadly, coach Scholari did not have that tactics in his plan. So, Brazil paid heavily.
Likewise the Bangladesh side needs few brilliant players who can capitalize half-chance. Every one should mind there is no substitution for victory.
