Doing good to others

Speakers from different kinds of forums call for non-communal Bangladesh and say that it was one of the objectives of the war of independence in 1971. But they do not explain what do they mean by it?
Bangladesh is a country of over 16 crore population. About 90 percents of them are the Muslims, who believe in Islam, the Quran and the unity of God. They also believe that Islam unlike other religions is not sum-total of a small number of worships. In Islam, duty towards God is linked to the duty towards mankind.
One example will make it transparent. Namaj (Prayer) is one of the five pillars of Islam. God has decreed it five times a day, incumbent on every man and woman even from his or her boyhood. At the same time, He has tagged it with several duties towards mankind. One without the other is not acceptable to Him.
God says that He accepts his/her Prayer only, who feeds the hungry, clothes the needy, shelters the homeless, stays away from sins and crimes, is kind to the distress and humble to Him- (Ref: Hadith-e-Qudsi, Hadith No. 246). Therefore, if every man and woman keep up Prayer and comply with given conditions, peace will prevail in every society. Thus, the importance of Prayer is endless.
The Prophet Muhammad (SM) said, if a man dies leaving behind property, his heirs will inherit it. But if he dies in debt, the State will take care of his children and the widow. He again said, feed the hungry, attend the sick and release the (innocent) prisoners-Bukhari Sharif.
We read in Verse No.5, Surah An Nisa, Al-Quran, that the State will feed and clothe the needy and who are unable to work. Now I think, our friends will agree that call for exploitation free society based on Islami principles is not communal. Will they?
