Develop Paksey as a key point
Paksey on the bank of the once fierce river Padma can be a tourist spot, as it has some potentialities. Paksey is the largest railway division in the country and accommodates the world’s one of the longest railway bridge named Hardinge Bridge. It is 5,900 feet long, has two lanes broad gauge lines and a footpath. Its most attractive structural design draws the crowds and studied in the European Engineering Colleges.
Down to the south of the Hatdinge Bridge, there are Lalon Bridge of an attractive design, export processing zone, long trees giving shadow to the pedestrians and pollution free environment. Paksey Railway Station is another attractive thing. It is about 60 feet above the surface and a tunnel under the station. A visitor can see everything in all directions from the platform of the station.
Paksey can give us revenues. Will the government take it seriously?
