Border killings ignored

The former Bangladesh and the Indian High Commissioners of the last four decades in New Delhi and Dhaka met together in Dhaka on Friday and discussed bilateral issues. Those were ratification of the land boundary agreement, the Teesta River sharing deal, comprehensive economic co-operation and integrity, and making of joint river commission a autonomous body, but the killing of the Bangladeshi nationals on the international borders was not on the list of agenda. This is surely sad and we never expected.
May we question the diplomats when will they be conscious enough to give pressure on the Indian government to stop the border killings?
