Sports ignored in TVs
Long before and after the January 5 elections, the talk shows on the television channels earned tremendous popularity. But the subject matter being the politics and most of the moderators being the garrulous, the decline of popularity begins.
There can be talk shows on national and international sports, regional wars and their impact on the world economy, character of cold wars in the past and present, contribution of littérateurs and social reformers in expansion of education in Bengal, future of Bangladesh economy and farmers, the killing of Bangladeshi nationals near the international borders, and States’ responsibilities in meeting man’s basic needs like food, clothing and shelter.
We hope that the programme producers of all the television channels including the BTV will consider our plea with importance.
