Dirt in WASA water
There is grime in WASA water, density whereof is inexplicable, in the WASA water supplied in South Goran, west of Ali Ahmad School and College, under Khilgaon Police Station. As advised, my residence owner washed his overhead and underground tanks but to no result.
Not only the residents of South Goran are constrained to use dirty water in washing their household utensils and clothes, taking bath, cooking rice and curries, residents of many other areas also in the city of Dhaka follow them.
We have no idea what does the administration of WASA think. We do not know whether the managing director of WASA has drafted fresh plan to free the residents of Dhaka city from using filthy water so that we are not attacked with skin and stomach complaints.
Access to safe drinking water is our right and the responsibility of supplying safe drinking water to us implies with the government. We hope that that WASA on behalf of the government will rise from hibernation to do its duty. Will it?

Scotland and economic reforms
The pro-independence movement in Scotland suffered setback in the last week, referendum because movement leader Alfred Salmond did not clarify his future economic policy, relations with the European Union and the Scottish shares in the oil field having reserve of about 2,000 crore barrels.
On the other hand, British Premier David Cameron promised the people of Scotland of more economic reforms and autonomy except defence and foreign policy. That is why political philosopher Harold Lasky said, “Political liberty is meaningless if it is not accompanied by economic liberty.” Scotland’s pro-independence leader and First Minister Salmond ignored this part of human life and eventually faced defeat.
David Cameron saved the integrity of the United Kingdom using his wisdom and imprudence.
The leaders of the Islami movements throughout the world must take lessons of Salmond’s defeat. The Boko Haraam, the Islami State movement in Iraq and Syria and those like them are in fact harming the Muslims in the name of religion. They must read Hadith No. 246 of Hadith-e-Qudsi that Allah has tagged Namaj with feeding the hungry, clothing the clotheless, sheltering the homeless and showing kindness to the poor. The Muslims of the world must resist them.
