Nature must be saved

Nature and man are inextricably linked with each other. As soon as environmental catastrophe occurs, human existence will soon become extinct. Most of the natural disasters that we are currently aware of are happening day by day due to the degradation of nature. Millions of people in our country depend directly on nature for their livelihood. Every year, 10 million hectares of forest are lost from the earth, which is twice the size of Costa Rica. Bangladesh is one of the most affected countries. Most of the existing ecosystems in Bangladesh are at a loss. So now we have to be aware.
Article 16 (a) of the Constitution of Bangladesh states that “the State shall preserve and develop the environment for present and future citizens and shall provide for the protection and security of natural resources, biodiversity, wetlands, forests and wildlife.” Therefore, as conscious citizens, we have an important responsibility to protect the Constitution. But we must always make sure that our responsibilities do not end with just celebrating the day. We need to be much more aware of nature conservation, regardless of individual or society.

E-Commerce needs to build confidence among people

E-commerce is usually city-centric; but to make this sector stronger and more people oriented, there is no alternative but to spread it at the village level. This requires providing improved internet services and bringing it to the doorsteps of the people. It is also important to ensure that every e-commerce entity is covered by registration and income tax, and in the case of registration, the quality of its services should take precedence over biased considerations. If e-commerce can be brought under control and customer confidence can be restored, then there is no doubt that this sector will be one of the driving forces of our economy.
