Acid Test For The Tigers
The coming T-20 World Cup scheduled to be held in the UAE is going to be an acid test for the tigers. Though Bangladesh team don’t have much good memories in the history of this mega event the captain of the Bangladesh team in the T-20 format Mahmudullah is pretty hopeful that Bangladesh will be able to put up a nice show in this tournament.
After the T-20 World Cup Bangladesh Cricket team will begin competing for the second cycle of the ICC World Test Championship by hosting Pakistan cricket team for a two match test series. One of the selectors of Bangladesh cricket team Habibul Bashar is looking forward this series and is hoping for an amazing start in this test championship cycle.
Bangladesh T-20 format captain Mahmudullah is very optimistic that Bangladesh will put up a good performance in the coming T-20 World Cup this year as Bangladesh have recently won three consecutive T-20 series in a row – away in Zimbabwe and at home against Australia and New Zealand. The captain said that this kind of big success right before the World Cup was necessary and it will give Bangladesh a massive confidence going to the biggest tournament of the shortest format of cricket.
Bangladesh captain concluded, his team would show special something in the World Cup.
Now the waiting is for what is that “special something”.
