Stop killing Bangladeshi nationals
The Border Security Force of India (BSFI) killed a Bangladeshi cattle trader severely on the Indo-Bangladesh international border down the Naogaon district’s Sapahar upazila on Monday. This is not the single case of torture on the border but one of many.
The BSF almost everyday either kills or wounds the Bangladeshi citizens shooting at them without provocation while the Bangladesh government’s repeated requests to the New Delhi government has no outcome. We understand why does the BSF ignore our inhabitants’ right to safety near the international border?
Interestingly the BSF will think several times before killing or wounding a Chinese national fearing severe reprisal. On the other hand, the BSF men will receive similar treatment from the Pakistan Rangers. The fact is that that Bangladesh should have strong diplomatic channel to prevent the BSF from shooting frequently at the Bangladesh citizens and happily the present government realizes it.
