Ensure security for the Tigers
In the past days, I saw that some Test playing countries, including India, England and Australia, refused to visit Bangladesh despite repeated requests showing security reasons. Our government even after taking several measures over security, they had refused to come here. But what we see today? Our cricketers are going abroad to play official matches without any security arrangement! How could this to be happened? On the other hand, Bangladesh always gives state-level highest security whenever any foreign cricket team comes to play here.
We are grateful of almighty that the Tigers narrowly escaped shooting at Christchurch in New Zealand. Not a single security man was with them at that time. It’s unbelievable. However, Bangladesh government has taken decision not to send its cricket team abroad in future without examining and reviewing the security measures of the host countries. I do appreciate the imitative. Tigers are our sons, they are our national assets. They have brought name and fame for our country. We must give them protection at home and abroad.
