Peace comes from within :
Peace is the most sought-after state of mind for most of us these days. Surely, the living conditions and working conditions of today have improved greatly, and so have the stress and depression levels. But peace is a feeling one has to experience within oneself. It is a state of mind when your heart is in acceptance of the condition you are in. It is not something achieved through one’s wealth and possessions; it can be achieved only through one’s actions and emotions.
The truth is that no one can find peace eternally. The state of the heart varies from time to time; sometimes, calm, sometimes anxious. And no one can fully master the art of being at peace. Neither one can attain peace completely or bring peace in others. It’s the nature of the heart is to waver. We can attain maturity when we realise that “this too will pass eventually”, be it good times or bad times. And we should be able to guide others with our experiences, to overcome emotional problems.
Today, peace has become a commodity with people claiming that they can bring peace in others’ lives . but for a fee. This is not done out of concern for others, but to earn from it. It’s high time people realised that if someone trades peace for money, neither parties will ever attain it.
