Bad news for good cholesterol!
Good Cholesterol or HDL (high-density lipoprotein) is considered good for human heart health while Bad Cholesterol or LDL (low-density lipoprotein) as harmful. But a recent study at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta found that HDL cholesterol of blood between the range 41 to 60 mg/dL is good but readings below 41 and above 60 mg/dL can be harmful to health and denotes increasing risk for heart attack.
The study was done on 6000 men and women for a period of four years. Of course this finding needs more study to establish the exact link.
