Unlike students behaviour :
We have no words to express our outrage by the attack of Chatra League on the students who were preparing to hold a press conference on the quota reform movement except “Shame, Shame and Shame”. We learned that at least six leaders were injured on June 30 when they gathered in front of DU Central Library. Quota reformists were once again attacked by Bangladesh Chatra League when they were taking preparation to bring out a procession from the Central Shaheed Minar in protest against Sunday’s attack.
How could Chatra League activists be called ‘Chatra’, meaning ‘student’? No student will ever hurt another student, they will unitedly protest any wrong decision of the government as they did in the Language Movement and in the Liberation War.
This deterioration of morality is very frightening, the Awami League must rein in those and not use them for their selfish purpose because one day they will have to repent for their wrong decision.
