Perhaps some people help Nayeem get well again!

Mahmudul Hasan Nayeem, one of our meritorious post-graduate and socialite students suddenly attacked by a rare neurological disease–Guillain-Barre (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) syndrome (GBS) which has made Nayeem speechless and paralyzed! Currently he is undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, Dhaka.
GBS is a critical disorder in which body’s immune system attacks the nerves. Treatment of GBS is uncertain and very expansive. In our country, only a few families can afford expensive treatments of critical diseases. And so is the case with Nayeem’s family. His father who is a Madrasha teacher is unable to bear the heavy expenses of Nayeem’s treatment. So they badly need supports from people around them as well as affluent members of the society.
It is estimated that Nayeem’s treatment will cost nearly 50 lac Takas. Nayeem’s fellow-students and his teachers at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) have extended their helping hand by generously donating from their stipends and salaries respectively. But still a lot more money is required. Responding to the appeal made by SAU VC Prof. Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahamad and the SAU Teachers’ Assocition, the Krishibid Group and some other organizations come forward with financial help to keep Nayeem’s treatment on! So, I would fervently appeal to all those who are capable of, to please extend financial assistance to help Nayeem get recovered soon!
To send the financial help, kind and softhearted people please use the following accounts of Nayeem’s father: Md. Mofizul Islam, A/C # 1335901009238, Sonali Bank Ltd, Cumilla Sadar (South) Branch.
