Gopalganj roads need to be waste free
Roads in Gopalganj Sadar thana are in bad shape and increasingly becoming unsuitable for both the passers-by and the vehicles. Household waste is dumped indiscriminately on the roads, creating odour all around. Sand and bricks are kept by the roadside for months. As a result, the roads have become narrower.
We can only imagine how dreadful this condition would become in the summer, when there will be wind and scorching heat. It is high time the authorities took measures to resolve this issue. The residents also have a responsibility in this regard and should dispose of waste at the right places only.
