Students’ demand must be fulfilled
Students are the backbone and future of a country, leaders will emerge from among them to guide the country to prosperity, in no way they can be ignored.
Recently they are demanding reforms in the quota system in public service, which we think is justified. We are grateful to the freedom fighters and will always remain so, but it does not justify to have a special quota for the freedom fighters children and grand children and what about others who are more eligible, brilliant and outstanding? By this quota system many times those who should have been selected may have to sacrifice their ambition and it would be very frustrating and unacceptable.
Therefore the government must give heed to the demand of the students and resolve it immediately.
