Need actions to save Sundarbans

The news about 190 illegal factories has been set up within 10 kilometres of Sundarbans shocked us with disbelief. It is like a thunderbolt striking us. When people came to know that the government was planning to build Rampal Power Plant near Sundarbans, people from all walks of life protested vehemently and urged the government to abandon the plan as it would destroy the world heritage, our precious wealth of which we are proud of.
But now it seems that every thing is in vain. The government is adamant. Those who are the owner of the country had no voice. With brutal power, the government is going on with its mission of destructions. By these actions, is the government trying to justify its declaration that Bangladesh has been upgraded to a prospering country?
Those factories have been built to manufacture whichever products must not come into operation. The government must immediately stop all the activities. We do not want to hear empty words anymore. We want to see actions. To please a few, the ruling party is making sixteen crore people angry. It will not bring them any good.
