Climate Science: 2018
As per program outline, a review will be made in 2018 on the progress of the Paris Climate Agreement on how much accomplishments the signing countries have made towards reducing greenhouse gas emission to holding the average global temperature to 1.5 to 2 degree Celsius. A special report is expected to be released by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change covering the consequences of the action. In September 2018 a major climate conference is also scheduled to be held in California.
We firmly hope that in 2018, the Climate Science will witness a major breakthrough towards motivating the world on the importance of taking proper action to keeping the global temperature under control.
It is also expected that the climate science deniers will come down to reality and join their respective country’s efforts to reduce greenhouse-gas emission. At the same time, developing countries will be extended both technical and financial support in overcoming the difficulties they are already facing due to climate change.
