Hope anew in 2018 :
We are on the doorstep of a new year. 2018 will usher in, but we do not hope for any change for a better future. In fact, we are feeling frightened not knowing what would take place in the coming year because we are afraid that political unrest will grip the country over the next general election. The government seems adamant not to hold the election under a neutral government.
We are perplexed, why the government is afraid of holding free-fair elections as it claims of doing so many development works. If people have been benefited by those developments, they surely will cast their votes in favour of the incumbent.
People want an election under a neutral government and a strong Election Commission, which will remain firm and sincere and will not sway under any circumstance. It is their sacred duty and we believe they will not forget it. People want army to be deployed. We hope EC will make the arrangement for a flawless election.
We feel betrayed by the General Election of 2014. We were deprived of our voting rights. It was heart breaking. We do not want a repetition of it.
