Stoppage of Intercity Trains at Paksey demanded

No inter-city train running between Dhaka and Khulna touches Paksey Station although the Paksey station is strategically and commercially very important. Paksey is the largest railway division in the country, where there are a two-lane broad gauge 1.8 kilometer long Hardinge Bridge, an EPZ, and above all an under-construction atomic reactor plant.
Besides Rooppur, the nearby village is also densely populated.
So, it is beyond comprehensible that no inter-city train running between Dhaka and Khulna stops here.
We, therefore, request the railway authority to arrange inter-city trains’ stoppages at the quickest.
