Can Brazil win the hexa?
Though Brazil have outplayed Cameroon 4-1 in their last Group ‘A’ match, many critics still doubt their abilities to win the ‘hexa’ because of their poor performance against Croatia and Mexico. Even Coach Scolari accused his players of wasting time with ball instead of taking shots into the opponents’ net.
Surely football is a game of goal and there will be no score if shots are not taken targeting the post. I think that the Brazilian players have realized that reality so far their performance with Cameroon is concerned.
Brazil have edge over their second round opponents Chile and if they win, they will meet winners of Columbia and Group ‘D’ runners-up in the quarterfinals. The probable semifinalists may be Germany or France. Ghana almost defeated Germany in a Group ‘G’ match. However, judging all the factors, I think that the hosts will win the hexa.
