Hope against hope
Now-a-days I have lost all interest of reading news papers or watching news on the television, knowing that depressing and horrible news is waiting there which will overwhelm me with anguish and disappointment. Pictures of wailing people who have lost their dear ones in accidents or murders leap up to the eyes.
News of killings, recovering of bodies, people disappearing mysteriously have become routine news. Another heinous crime has become rampant, murdering of small girls after rape, an unimaginable loathsome act. Have people of our country become fiends? I have become engulfed in unbearable agony, will our beloved country ever become stable and safe again? Only hope, against hope.
