Life drowning in Chittagong
Life has come to a standstill for the people of Chittagong, They are passing their days in unbearable sufferings as the city is drowning.
There are many reasons behind this situation like inefficiency and negligence of those who are in charge to see that the city remains spin and span but alas they have no headache about that.
Drains, canals have become clogged due to garbage and unauthorised constructions being built upon those. Chaktai Khal has not been dredged and it has become narrow because grabbers are having feast on both sides of it.
It cannot go on like this. Authorities must wake up and on urgent basis do whatever is necessary to save the people from this horrible state.
