Use safe cable in electric lines
Numerous electric wires are seen hanging from one electric pillar to another pillar in Dhaka city along with other cities. Various types of birds sit on these electric wires to take rest for a while. Some birds like bat are seen dead in hanging condition on these wires when these wires are not rubber coated, known as cable. Pedestrians walk on roads in these cities face critical problem as walking space on footpath is not safe for them. In rainy season when storm starts, electric wires without cable tear off and fall on roads. In this circumstances, pedestrians walking on these roads often face serious hazards, even meet with fatal accidents if these torn wires fall on their bodies.
Apart from this problem, fire may also break out from these torn wires and shops and buildings of these areas may caught fire.
Concerned authorities should take essential steps to ensure use of cable in every city to protect life of pedestrians.
