A good decision

We should give up the practice of criticizing a man or woman, organisation or the government for the sake of criticizing. When someone takes a good decision, why should we refrain from congratulating him/her? We think that we should be courageous and bold in this respect.
Prime Minister, has perhaps, well read the feeling of the overwhelming majority population of the country and that is why she gave official recognition to the highest Qawmi degree and voiced her sentiment against the installation of the Greek sculpture in the Supreme Court compound. In the past, she took many bold steps, including construction of the Padma Bridge on the river Padma at Mawa challenging the World Bank withdrawal. She deserves big Hi-fives.

Most unwanted rest

Two Indian franchises Hyderabad and Calcutta signed Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib al Hasan to play in the underway Premier Cricket League. Till date, Mustafiz played one match only, but cut a very sorry figure. On the other hand, Shakib has not played till date a single match despite the fact that he is a very good player.
The Hyderabad officials might rest Mustafiz for his dismal performance, but it is unjust on the part of the Calcutta officials to ignore Shakib, who deserves to play, considering his performance in every department of cricket.
As such, we think that both of them should return to Bangladesh without delay and give attention to the Dhaka Premier League 2017.
