Too many deaths on roads!

We are appalled by learning that on an average a dozen people die every day from road accidents in our country. It is unacceptable and deplorable because these large number of deaths would not have happened if the concerned authorities cared about the mishaps.
We want to know what BRTA is doing, it is a common knowledge that Driving Licenses and Fitness Certificates of vehicles could be obtained in exchange of money. One does not have to appear for driving test and faulty vehicles get clearance without inspection. What a country we are living in where corrupted people will do anything for money, not caring how destructive the result would be.
We want to urge Minister of Road Transport and Bridges to look into the matter as roads, highways, bridges and culverts also play a role in mishaps because if those are not in good conditions accidents are bound to happen. So it is very important that those who are in charge take the matter seriously and take urgent steps to bring down the loss of lives due to road accidents.
