Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi M P inaugurated the construction work of Pirgachha Zonal Office Building of BMDA on Monday.
Among others, Pirgachha Upazila Chairman Abu Naser Shah Md. Mahabubar Rahman, Upazila Executive Officer Sheikh Shasmul Arefin, Upazila Vice Chairman, Md. Ariful Haque, Pirgachha Upazila, Agriculture Officer Md. Saiful Alam, Upazila Engineer Md. Monirul Islam, Rangpur Circle BMDA Supervising Engineer Md. Habibur Rahman Khan, Executive Engineer, Md. Harun Aur Rashid, BMDA, BMDA,, Assistant Engineer, Syed Mizanur Rahman and Zone Assistant Engineer M Mostaq Ahmed Sarkar were present there The commerce minister said the Alaikumari canal had been filled for a long time due to non-repair, adding that the suffering of the people was increasing and the field crops were being damaged. He asked to implement the work while maintaining proper standards. Project Director, EIRP, BMDA Rangpur Circle said.
