A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to facilitate the students of Daffodil International University (DIU) for higher education in Russia was signed at the Conference Room of the university recently. Alexander P Demin, First Secretary and Head of Cultural Department, Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bangladesh and Prof Dr M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of DIU signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Alexander G Chesnokov, Deputy Head, Russian Federal Agency for cooperation with foreign countries was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
RCSC will arrange photo exhibitions, film show, seminars, cultural show in DIU Venue, about Russian culture, heritage, language, etc under this MoU. It will also give access for every DIU student’s to RCSC library to learn Russian history, literature, culture and language. To ensure the students learning Russian language, DIU will arrange Russian teachers’ accommodations along with Russian books (language, literature, history, culture, etc) in their library supported by RCSC, Dhaka.
