This year to celebrate the Russian National Day, on June 12, Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka did not hold any traditional reception and festive concert due to current difficult epidemiological situation of coronavirus. Nevertheless, the RCSC organised several online events, including a flash mob with students from Daffodil International University, a children’s drawing contest “I’m painting Russia,” video messages from partner organisations such as University of Dhaka, the SovietAlumni Association Bangladesh (SAAB), Friendship Society Bangladesh-Russia, Associations of compatriots ‘Homeland,’ and many
others.
