Agriculture Minister Dr. Abdur Razzaque inaugurated Varashankha hydrolic elevator dam constructed by Bangladesh Agriculture Developmemt Corporation (BADC) on Sunday through zoom.
The minister inaugurated the dam with a view to increasing agricultural products in Bharashanka under Barumcharai union of Anwara upazila in Chattogram district, said a press release.
While speaking Razzaque said in the next future a huge currency will be earned through agriculture
Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Agriculture Secretary Md Nasiruzzaman were present on the occasion.
Chairman of Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) Sayedul Islam presided over the programme.
