Today is the birthday of country’s one of the legendary film actors Razzak. He turns 74 today. To celebrate his birthday along with family members and relatives,
he has returned from Kolkata on Wednesday.
Last week he along with his wife, son Samrat and
daughter-in-law Kona went to Kolkata for travelling. After traveling they returned to Dhaka. While talking about his birthday Razzak said, “I am physically well now.
Everybody pray for me, as I can remain well every time.”
It may be mentioned that Razzak last performed in his son Bapparaz’s directed a film titled Kartoos recently. In this film, his close friend late Chashi Nazrul Islam also
performed in a role. Razzak feels bad for his friend’s demise. Razzak acted in Chashi Nazrul Islam’s directed first film Ora 11 Jon. Razzak last made a film titled Ayna Kahini under the production of Impress Telefilm Ltd. Samrat and Keya performed as a pair in the film.
After this film, Razzak didn’t make any other film.
Razzak started his film career as a hero by Zahir
Raihan’s Behula. Kohinur Akhter Suchonda acted against him in the film. As a producer, Razzak debut
his career by film Rongbaaj, directed by Zahirul Haque. Kobori was heroine of Razzak in the film.
As a pair, against Bobita Razzak first gave direction in film Ananta Prem. This film became one of the
milestones in the country’s film industry. n
