Razzak puts Khulna Division on driving seat in NCL

Khulna Division rode on skipper Abdur Razzak’s an all round performance on driving seat after the third day of four-day Walton National Cricket League held on Tuesday at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Tail-ender Razzak, who was shine with ball taking three wickets of Barisal, fall victim of nervous ninety and missed his deserving hundred, made a quick fire 97 runs off just 83 balls hitting eight boundaries and three over boundaries. He was well supported by Miraj who contributed 73 runs off 118 balls laced with nine fours to help his side to post a massive first innings total of 424, in reply to Barisal Division first innings total of 261.
Trailed by 163 runs, Barisal Division again faced batting jolt in their second innings in their second innings as they scored 122 for 3 in 46 overs at stumps on the third day.
Shaheen Hossain and Al Amin were on the crease with 16 and 2 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Nahidul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Abdul Halim took one wicket each.
Earlier, on the third day, Khulna Division resumed their first innings with overnight score of 221 for 4 and finally all out 424 in 99.3 overs.

The match between Dhaka Metropolis and Dhaka Division four-day National Cricket League is heading for a tame draw as not a single ball was bowled due to wet outfield following rain on the third day (Tuesday) at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra on Monday.
Earlier, on the first day, only 15 overs were bowled as rain along with bad light hampered the greater part first day’s play while the second day was also washed out due to rain.
