GM Enamul Hossain Razib finished fourth position in the 49th Annual Continental Open Premier, Online Chess after his position was decided in the tie breaking system, said a chess federation press release on Monday.
GM Razib earned five points out of seven games and tied for runner-up position and he became fourth in the tie-breaking system. The event was held on the online chess platform ICC from November 6-8, organised by Bangladesh Chess Association.
Earlier, he won against Rut Singi Reddy in third round, Rajanish Adhva in 5th round and GM Timur Gareyev in sixth round. He split points with GM Jaime Santos Latasa of Spain in the 7th or last round.
Razib also drew another three games. IM Hans Moke Niemann of the USA became champion with six points. GM Razib will receive four hundred us dollars as prize money.
