Popular actress Ratna is not seen in the
silver screen for many days. But Ratna informed that she is coming with new movies soon. On December 11, 2015, Ratna tied the nuptial knot with owner of Tokyo Movies and producer Akhtaruzzaman Aktar. Today they will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary. They have two sons named Rajjo Hossain and Sojjo Hossain. Ratna is very much delighted for stepping
into seven years of her conjugal life. She said, “Alhamdulillah, I am stepping forward to seven years of my marriage life. Seven years is a lucky number. I am really happy because I have been passing happy times. I am grateful to Allah for giving me a nice family life. As a person, Aktar is a good human being. I am really delighted to get him in my life as my husband. Everybody prays for me as I can pass happy life with him till my death.” Ratna started her film career acting opposite Ferdous in Selim Azam directed movie Keno Bhalobaslam. Later, she also acted in films Moron Niye Khela, Itihas, Porena Chokher Polok, Tumi Shudhu Aamar, Tumi Ki Sei, Priyo
Sathi, Mon Jekhane Hridoy Sekhane, Anko,
Hingsha Protihingsha and many more.
Ratna got the opportunity to study English at Jagannath University. But later she changed her department and completed honours in Social Work from that university in 2010. Then she completed masters in Social Welfare from University of Dhaka in 2011. In 2013, she secured the third position in merit list in Law under National University in the final examinations.
Ratna informed that she has already
completed shooting of some movies. She is waiting to get release dates of Jewel Farsi’s Arun Borun Kiron Mala, Satya Ranjan Romance’s Poran Pakhi, government funded movie Kashar Thalai Rupali Chand directed by Delwar Jahan Jhontu, Rokibul Alam Rokib’s Nosto Munna, and Tajul Islam Edin’s Kothin Lorai. Now these movies are
taking preparation to get release dates.
Ratna first performed as model in song of late Ayub Bachchu. She also got appreciation to perform as model in several numbers of TVCs.
