Film actress Ratna Kabir is now trying to be regular in acting again. For this reason, recently she has acted in a new movie and a drama. Already she has acted in Mosaddek Falgun directed a movie titled ‘Kishore Gangster.’
Ratna informed that she has already completed shooting of this movie. She liked story and her character, so that Ratna agreed to act in this movie. In the meantime, the actress also acted in a drama titled ‘Cinemar Pagol,’ directed by Russell Mia. On Thursday, she completed shooting of this drama. In the drama, Ratna played in the central character.
While talking in this regard, Ratna told this correspondent, “Though I was irregular in acting for some days but now I am trying to be regular. In fact, I was busy with my personal life for some days. Besides remaining busy with family life, I want to continue acting now because acting attracts me a lot. So, if I get good story and role, then I want to continue acting regularly. Now trend for making movies has been changed. Now for making movie emphasis is given to the story. I want to work in that type of story based movies. As an actress, I have a hunger for acting. For this reason, I am waiting to get own liking movie. I hope in future, I will get the opportunity to act in my likeable story and character based movie. Otherwise, as an actress, my hunger for acting will remain incomplete. I have liked story of movie ‘Gangster.’ I hope after releasing, viewers will like this movie.”
Last April, Ratna acted in S M Rubel directed drama titled ‘Nayikar Maa Ekhon Nayika’ where noted actress Chitralekha Guho played role of Ratna’s mother.
It is noted that opposite Ferdous, Ratna has debuted her acting career as a heroine through movie ‘Keno Bhalobaslam.’ Then she also acted in movies ‘Moron Niye Khela,’ ‘Itihas,’ ‘Porena Chokher Polok,’ ‘Tumi Shudhu Aamar,’ ‘Tumi Ki Sei,’ ‘Priyo Sathi,’ ‘Mon Jekhane Hridoy Sekhane,’ ‘Anko,’ among others. Ratna for the first time performed as a model in a song of Ayub Bachchu.
Now Ratna starrer movies ‘Arun Barun Kiron Mala,’ ‘Poran Pakhi,’ ‘Nosto Munna’ and ‘Kothin Lorai’ area waiting to get release dates, said the actress.
