Erina Parvin Ratna clinched both the women’s singles and doubles title of the Incontred Limited Bangladesh International Junior Badminton that concluded on Thursday at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city.
Ratna clinched the women’s singles title beating her compatriot Afrina Islam Mouly by 21-14, 21-10 sets in the final.
She also maintained her supremacy as she pairing with Mouly clinched the women’s doubles title defeating their compatriot Anamika Islam and Bithi Sharkar pair in the final.
Besides, Minhaz Mohammad and Erina Parvin Ratna pair of Bangladesh clinched the mixed doubles title beating their compatriot Abu Jor Ali and Afrina Islam Mouly pair 21-17, 18-21, 21-09 in the final.
In the men’s singles event, Cheerandeev Arutchelvan of Malaysia clinched men’s singles title beating his compatriot Jhotiswaran Karupathevan 21-15, 23-21 in the final.
In the men’s doubles event, Cheerandeev Arutchelvan and Jhotiswaran Karupathevan pair of Malaysia clinched the men’s doubles event outplaying their compatriot Labieb Muhzafar Lakamagi and Kiran Raj Maniraj 20-22, 21-13, 21-13 in the final.
