Dr Mirza Akmal Hossain Open FIDE Rating Women’s Chess tournament begins today (Friday) at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Organised by Bangladesh Mohila Daba Samity under the guidance of Bangladesh Chess Federation, the event will be held in the memory of former national chess champion late Dr Mirza Akmal Hossain.
The event will be held in 7 round Swiss-League system and a total of Taka 65,000 cash prize money will be given to the winners.
