Sonkalan Bharati of India followed the leader neck and neck with 7 points.
FM Mehdi HasanParag of Sheikh Russel Chess Club, FM Khondakar Aminul Islam, FM Mohammad Javed and CM SM Sharon of Bangladesh Navy were in the 3rd slot jointly collecting 6.5 points each.
Nine players earned six points each. They are: FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Sonargaon Chess Club, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman and Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan of Janata Bank Officer Welfare Society, CM Md.
