The happy new year FIDE rating chess championship begins today (Saturday) at Education Garden School and College in city’s Uttara.
Organised by Uttara Central Chess Club, Akram Hossain, finance secretary of central committee of ‘nirapad sarak chai’ will formally inaugurate the meet as chief guest.
The participating all chess players have been asked to present in venue in time.
