Noted social worker, wife of the Chairman of the Karnaphuly Group, Hedayet Hossain Chowdhury and mother of Saber Hossain Chowdhury, MP Rasheda Hossain Chowdhury died of old-age complications at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Saturday. She was 76.
She left behind husband, three sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed condolence on her death and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members. She also prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
