“Recently Misha Sawdagor’s a speech hurt me a lot. But later I forgot it. There is no scope to accept present situation of BFDC. My mind cries for this present condition because I passed 35 years in BFDC for acting. When I go there it looks like a dessert now,” said noted film actress Rasheda Chowdhury who played the role of mother in many films.
Now Rasheda is passing time with her granddaughter Ronita. Hailed from Brahmanbaria Rashed tied the nuptial knot with Al Helal Chowdhury of Bhaluka, Mymensingh. In 1984, she attached with film through Notun Mukher Sondhaney. She first acted in Darashiko’s movie Prem Kahini. She played the central role in this movie. Later, she acted in Chashi Nazrul Islam’s Biroho Byatha and Harunur Rashid’s Bhagyaboti. Then she became engage with acting. Till now she acted in 200 movies.
While talking about her career Rasheda Chowdhury, “I am always satisfied with my position in the film industry. My husband was so broad minded that he never created any barrier for my acting in film. For everybody I have come into present position. I am grateful to them.”
